Dangote Refinery to Supply 65 Million Litres Daily

Dangote Refinery is set to supply 65 million litres of petrol daily, as disclosed by Aliko Dangote, the president of Dangote Group, during a confirmation in Lagos. This supply aims to meet the national demand for petrol and will also allow for an export surplus of approximately 15-20 million litres.

The refinery's operational framework includes a structured offtake agreement to ensure nationwide distribution and eliminate supply instability. The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has endorsed this revised distribution framework.

The refinery will supply major market companies, including Mr. Oil Nigeria PLC, Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC), Mobil Producing Nigeria, TotalEnergies, and others.

This initiative is expected to transform Nigeria's energy security and reduce reliance on imported refined products, which has previously strained the economy and foreign exchange reserves. Engr.
