NPA MD Emphasizes Port Reconstruction for Trade Efficiency

Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), highlighted the significance of ongoing port reconstruction projects across Africa in enhancing trade facilitation and efficiency.

Speaking at the inauguration in Kobe, Japan, Dantsoho emphasized the need for infrastructure development to keep pace with the continent's growing trade demands. He cited examples like the Simado project in Guinea Conakry and investments in ports in Morocco and Nigeria as game-changers for the industry.

Dantsoho stressed the importance of modernizing port infrastructure to accommodate evolving capabilities and improve efficiency in handling trade diversions across Africa.
