Davido Inducted into 2026 Black Music Walk of Fame

Nigerian music star Davido has been announced as an inductee into the 2026 Black Music Walk of Fame. The organization confirmed his inclusion ahead of the induction ceremony scheduled for June 1, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Black Music Walk of Fame honors individuals who have made significant contributions to Black culture and the global entertainment scene. Davido joins a prestigious list of honorees, including American rapper Ludacris, gospel minister Paul Morton, and former Atlanta mayor Maynard Jackson.

The initiative was created by the Black American Music Association and the Georgia Entertainment Caucus to recognize influential figures in the entertainment industry. Previous inductees include the late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti, highlighting the initiative's commitment to honoring those who have made a lasting impact on the music world.
