Davido Pauses Music to Support Uncle Adeleke's Campaign

Afrobeat star Davido, whose full name is David Adeleke, announced on Tuesday that he will be putting his music career on hold for two months to support his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, in his reelection campaign for the governorship of Osun State. This announcement was made during the inauguration of the Imol Youth Campaign Mobilization Team, which is chaired by Ed Adelek.

Davido emphasized the importance of his uncle's work and stated that the job is not yet finished. He urged the youth to use their influence to ensure Adeleke's victory in the upcoming elections.

The campaign committee, which includes notable members such as Adeshina Kayod Olododo (Vice Chairman) and Hon Gbenga Idowu (Secretary), is tasked with conducting door-to-door campaigns across local governments to inform the public about the governor's achievements and future plans.
