Davido Surprises Fans by Liking Activist's Critique
Afrobeats star Davido responded to activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) after VDM criticized him and his uncle, Osun State Governor Adeleke. The situation escalated following Governor Adeleke's attendance at an APC campaign council meeting in Abuja on October 14, where he endorsed President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid.
Adeleke, who previously contested the Osun governorship under the Accord party, expressed confidence in Tinubu's victory and stated he would coordinate the APC campaign. VDM accused Davido of using his social media influence to promote an anti-APC narrative during his uncle's campaign, despite knowing Adeleke's political ties to the ruling party.
VDM highlighted past tweets from Davido that contradicted his uncle's current stance. In a surprising twist, Davido liked VDM's post, which left many fans confused given the direct nature of the criticism aimed at him and his family.
