Robbers Attack Widow of Late Gospel Singer Taiwo Adegbodu

Days after the burial of gospel singer Taiwo Adegbodu, his widow was attacked by robbers at their home in Osogbo. The incident, disclosed by his twin brother Kehind Adegbodu, occurred as the family was still mourning the singer, who passed away from a heart attack on March 1, 2026, and was buried on March 31, 2026, following funeral services held on March 30 and 31.

The robbers reportedly spent 45 minutes in the house, stealing cash, clothes, and valuables while demanding to know the whereabouts of donations received during the burial. Kehind clarified that the funds had already been spent on burial arrangements and ongoing projects initiated in honor of his late brother.

The attack has left the family, including children, traumatized and fearful, prompting an appeal for understanding from the public as they continue to mourn their loss.
