Ogun State to Rebuild Government Quarters for Modern Infrastructure

Ogun State is taking steps to rebuild government quarters constructed in 1976 within the Ogun State House of Assembly complex. The existing structures are dilapidated, unsafe, and do not meet modern engineering standards.

Despite multiple renovation attempts over the years, the buildings continue to deteriorate, leading to high maintenance costs. The Ministry of Housing has confirmed the structures are no longer safe for habitation.

The state government plans to reconstruct the quarters to align with modern safety and efficiency standards, reflecting a broader commitment to urban renewal and sustainable infrastructure development.
