Delegates Storm Osogbo for Osun PDP Governorship Primaries Amidst Tension

Delegates from the PDP in Osun State have converged in Osogbo for the governorship primaries. The event is marked by tight security and conflicting reports on whether the primaries will proceed.

While the state PDP chairman initially announced the cancellation of the primaries due to leadership crises, the national organizing secretary insisted that the primaries would go ahead as scheduled. The election committee, led by Humphrey Abba, is overseeing the process with members from various institutions.

INEC is also monitoring the primaries closely. Governor Ademola Adeleke was present to supervise the process.
