Rowland Odih Urges Nigerians to Embrace Democracy

On Democracy Day, Rowland Odih, the former Director General of the Atiku Youth Wing, called on Nigerians to recommit themselves to the ideals of democracy and support good governance. He stressed that democracy should reflect the welfare of the people and serve as a reminder of the sacrifices made by Nigeria's democratic heroes.

Odih noted that Nigeria has made significant progress since returning to democracy but highlighted ongoing challenges such as unemployment, insecurity, poverty, and widening inequality that affect citizens' daily lives. He urged political leaders to embrace inclusive governance and prioritize the nation's interests above partisan considerations, asserting that democracy thrives when citizens are actively engaged and empowered to participate meaningfully in decision-making processes.

Odih also encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful and steadfast in building a united and prosperous nation, urging cooperation with the president to ensure that every Nigerian benefits from good governance.
