Atiku Abubakar Praises ADC Primaries in Yola

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria and presidential aspirant for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed his support for the party's primaries, stating that democracy has firmly taken root in Nigeria. He made these remarks following the nationwide primary elections held simultaneously across 8,809 wards in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Atiku cast his vote at the Ajiya Ward polling unit in Jimeta, Yola, Adamawa State, amid cheers from party supporters. The voting process commenced shortly after his arrival in Abuja.

He is one of three aspirants in the race, alongside former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi and Moha Hayatudeen. Hon.

Umar Jada announced earlier that Ajiya Ward unanimously endorsed Atiku's candidacy. A total of 3,220 votes were reportedly cast in favor of Atiku during the primaries.
