Brigadier General Braimah Killed in Borno Terror Attack

Braimah, the commander of the 29 Task Force Brigade, along with two officers and two soldiers during a terrorist attack in Kaga Local Government Area, Borno State. Major General Michael Onoja, Director of Defence Media Operations, described the fallen personnel as gallant officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation.

The statement emphasized Brigadier General Braimah's courage and leadership during fierce engagements with terrorist elements. The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, expressed condolences to the families of the fallen personnel and assured that their sacrifices would strengthen ongoing military operations against insurgents.

The military has recorded recent operational successes against Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists, significantly disrupting their movements and logistics across Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Taraba, and Gombe states.
