Nigerian Troops Rescue 180, Arrest 450, Kill Scores of Terrorists in September Operations

The Nigerian military, as announced by the Defence Headquarters, reported significant achievements in combating terrorism and insecurity in September. Troops rescued 180 kidnap victims, arrested 450 suspects, and killed scores of terrorists and criminal elements.

Additionally, 39 terrorists surrendered, and a substantial amount of arms and ammunition were recovered in Zamfara State. The Police Command in Zamfara confirmed the release of 17 kidnap victims.

In the Niger Delta, troops destroyed illegal refining sites and foiled oil theft worth over N112 million. These operations demonstrate the military's ongoing efforts to enhance national security and combat criminal activities across the country.
