Did Interpol Reject EFCC’s Wanted Alert on Atiku’s Son-in-Law? Anti-graft Agency Speaks

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has denied reports that Interpol rejected their wanted alert on Atiku Abubakar's son-in-law, Haske. The EFCC branded the news as fake, stating that the international police organization did not refuse to act on the alert.

Haske, who is married to Atiku's daughter, was declared wanted by the EFCC for alleged money laundering activities. The agency appealed to Nigerians to assist in locating Haske, who was last known to reside in Lagos.

Amidst the controversy, the EFCC clarified that their intervention was not politically motivated. The report of Interpol rejecting the alert was deemed false by the EFCC, despite Interpol's silence on the matter.

Additionally, the EFCC addressed the arrest of Olakunle Alex Folarin, a former employee who appeared on a social media matchmaking show, Lege Miami.
