Katsina Teaching Hospital Faces Bed Shortage Amid Diphtheria

The hospital management reported that it is receiving a high volume of patients referred from other health facilities, resulting in overcrowding and exceeding its bed capacity.

Despite these challenges, FTH Katsina is committed to providing timely and quality care to affected children and is making necessary arrangements to accommodate the increasing number of patients. The hospital commended the dedication and resilience of healthcare workers who continue to care for critically ill children amid the growing pressure.
