DisCos Revenue Hits N207.49bn in December 2025

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) reported that electricity distribution companies (DisCos) collected N207.49 billion in revenue in December 2025. This figure indicates a marginal decline of 0.02% compared to the N208.78 billion collected in November 2025.

The total electricity bill issued for December was N258.66 billion, which shows a 4% decrease from the N269.43 billion billed in November. Despite the drop in total bill collections, there was a slight improvement in collection efficiency, which rose to 80.22% in December from 77.49% in November.

This indicates a modest recovery in revenue for the distribution companies, as outlined in the financial performance factsheet released by NERC for December 2025.
