U.S. Lawmaker Warns Terrorists After Al Minuki's Death

U.S. Congressman Riley Moore, a Republican member of the House Appropriations Committee, issued a warning to terrorists in Nigeria, stating they should not test President Donald Trump's resolve.

This statement followed a U.S. operation that resulted in the death of Abu Bilal al Minuki, identified as the second-in-command of the Islamic State (ISI). Moore discussed the broader crisis of religious persecution in northeastern Nigeria during an interview with NewsNation anchor Anna Kooiman.

He highlighted Trump's focus on defending Christians in Nigeria against radical Islamic terrorism. Moore noted that the U.S. administration's engagement with Nigeria has intensified, particularly after Trump directed an investigation into the persecution of Christians in the country.

The operation that killed al Minuki was described as a meticulously planned and coordinated strike in the Lake Chad Basin, with U.S. Defense Intelligence confirming the operation's precision.
