Sean Nelson, a senior counsel at the Global Religious Freedom Alliance, supported Moore's comments, asserting the necessity for maximum US pressure on Nigeria to address these issues. The situation reflects a broader concern regarding the safety of Christians in Nigeria amid claims of genocide by Islamist militants.
