Kwam 1 Urges Unity Against South-West Insecurity

Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam 1, a prominent Fuji music icon, expressed serious concerns regarding the escalating violence and kidnappings in South-West Nigeria. In a video shared on his official Instagram page on Friday, he made an urgent appeal to notable Yoruba nationalist figures, including Sunday Igboho and Gani Adams, urging them not to leave President Bola Tinubu alone in tackling the region's insecurity.

Kwam 1 insisted that the current wave of violence requires a collective approach rather than placing the entire responsibility on President Tinubu. He specifically called upon Sunday Igboho and Gani Adams to set aside their differences and mobilize local defense structures to confront the security threats.

Kwam 1 stressed the importance of forming a formidable alliance that includes political actors and traditional security agencies, as well as grassroots defense groups across the South-West. He emphasized the need to restore peace in the region and protect the Yoruba people from ongoing security challenges.
