Don’t post Abia teachers to non-convenient areas – Otti

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has issued a directive to not post newly employed teachers to non-convenient areas, as it would negatively impact their productivity. He cautioned against using posting as a punitive measure for workers in the state.

Otti emphasized the importance of ensuring that teachers are placed in areas where they can deliver their best work efficiently. He also addressed allegations made by former Abia State Commissioner of Information, Eze Chikamnayo, regarding the administration's handling of budgeted funds for school projects.

Otti dismissed these claims as untrue and challenged Chikamnayo to visit Umunnochi local government to see the progress of school projects firsthand. Otti urged for transparency and accountability in the administration's actions.
