NYSC DG Warns Corps Members Against Risky Travel Without Approval

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) cautioned corps members against embarking on journeys without official approval, citing the high risks associated with unauthorized travel on Nigerian roads. The warning was delivered at the NYSC orientation camp in Edo State to the 2025 Batch C corps members.

The DG stressed the need for corps members to follow protocol, avoid risky travel, and prioritize safety, especially in unfamiliar environments. Additionally, Nafiu, the DG, highlighted the dangers of social vices and criminal activities that could jeopardize the future of corps members.

The Edo State coordinator commended the DG for enhancing camp conditions and welfare support.
