DSS Re-Arrests Kuje Prison Escapee and Terror Suspect Obadaki, Ansaru Leaders Nabbed

The Department of State Services (DSS) has re-arrested Obadaki, a terror suspect who escaped from Kuje Correctional Center during the July 2022 attack. Obadaki, a notorious terror operative, was among 800 inmates, including Boko Haram suspects, who fled during the invasion.

Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser, disclosed the arrest of two men identified as leaders of the Ansaru terrorist group. The suspects are allegedly involved in multiple violent crimes, including the jailbreak and attacks in Uromi, Edo State, and Oken, Kogi State.
