DStv Launches New SuperSport Channel for 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

DStv has launched a new SuperSport channel focused on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, following a major milestone in the merger between Canal+ and MultiChoice Group. The channel will offer coverage in English, French, Portuguese, and select African languages to reach a diverse audience across the continent.

The merger, led by Canal+ CEO David Mignot and CAF President Patrice Motsepe, aims to deepen Canal+'s connection with African viewers. The deal, valued at approximately R55 billion, marks one of the largest media mergers in Africa, positioning the new group as a powerhouse in the continent's sports broadcasting landscape.
