DStv Announces Major Changes: 5 New Channels Added, Streaming Services Merged

DStv is set to introduce five new channels and merge its streaming services into a single super app following the completion of a Multichoice takeover deal by Canal. With a reported 14 million customers, Canal aims to leverage its financial scale and large European content library to strengthen DStv's position in the global market.

The consolidation of services into a single digital platform will offer a wide range of local and international programs. Subscribers will benefit from additional streams at no extra cost, allowing simultaneous viewing on two devices.

The new channels will feature a mix of sports content including MMA, UFC, EFC, boxing, WWE, and cycling.
