Nigeria's senior men's basketball team, D'Tigers, began their 2025 AfroBasket campaign with a strong win against Madagascar in Luanda, Angola. The team, aiming to replicate the success of their female counterparts, the Tigress, who recently won their fifth consecutive continental title, dominated the game with a convincing performance.

Led by Caleb Agada, who scored 22 points, D'Tigers showcased solid defensive play and excellent ball movement throughout the match. Stan Okoye and Ike Nwamu also made significant contributions to the team's success.
