D’Tigress, Nigeria's women's basketball team, concluded their U.S. tour with a heavy defeat to Indiana Fever, losing 105-57 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Sunday. The game, attended by a crowd of 10,051, saw Nigeria fall behind early as Indiana established a commanding lead, finishing the first quarter at 32-18 and leading 70-29 at halftime.

Indiana's offensive efficiency was evident, with 26 assists and a field goal accuracy of 53.7%, while Nigeria struggled with a 30% shooting rate and committed 24 turnovers. Indiana capitalized on Nigeria's slow defensive recoveries, scoring 24 fast break points.

Kelsei Mitchell led Indiana with 17 points, while Caitlin Clark added 12 points and four assists. Despite Nigeria's efforts, including 32 points in the paint, the team failed to convert any three-point attempts.

This loss marked the end of a winless tour for D’Tigress, who will need significant improvements ahead of the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Berlin, where they are drawn in Group B alongside France, South Korea, and Hungary.
