Zailani Accuses APC Leaders of Electoral Manipulation

Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, the former Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, has stirred controversy by accusing the All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders of manipulating the party's primary elections. He warned that such actions could weaken the party's future electoral prospects.

Zailani expressed his disappointment in a video shared across platforms, stating that the conduct of the primaries was unfair and a betrayal of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's interests. In response, Uba Sani's senior political adviser, Muhammad Abubakar Mamadi, shifted the debate by questioning Zailani's political credibility and referring to past electoral conduct.

Mamadi insisted that the primary results were legitimate and criticized Zailani for his claims. The exchange highlighted deep divisions within the APC as Zailani's accusations were met with strong rebuttals from party members, including Hussaini Jalo, who defended the election process and warned against further attacks on the governor.
