Super Eagles Secure Unity Cup with 3-0 Win Over Jamaica

The Super Eagles of Nigeria triumphed over Jamaica with a 3-0 victory in the Unity Cup final held at Charlton Athletic Stadium in London. Alhassan Yusuf scored just two minutes into the match, setting the tone for Nigeria's dominance in the first half, where they created several chances but failed to extend their lead.

Victor Moffi doubled the advantage in the 59th minute with a goal assisted by Femi Azeez. Yusuf then completed the rout with a goal in the first minute of injury time.

This victory marks Nigeria's fourth title in the Unity Cup, having previously won in 2002, 2004, and 2025. Last year's final against Jamaica required a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw.

Coach Eric Chell made one change to the squad that defeated Zimbabwe 2-0 in the semi-finals, with Rafiu Durosinmi coming in for Philip Otel. Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo completed the tournament without conceding a single goal.
