CAN Urges Nigerians to Stay Hopeful This Easter

In a recent Easter message, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), under the leadership of Archbishop Daniel Okoh, called on Nigerians to maintain hope and unity in the face of ongoing challenges, including insecurity and economic hardships. The message highlighted that Easter symbolizes hope and the possibility of a fresh start, even amid adversity.

Archbishop Okoh acknowledged the anxiety and stress felt by families due to the current state of the nation but emphasized that this period should not be seen as an end. He encouraged citizens to remain steadfast and work collectively to address the country's challenges.

The message also urged political leaders to demonstrate genuine leadership and empathy to improve the lives of citizens. Furthermore, Archbishop Okoh called for religious institutions to support the vulnerable and inspire confidence in a better future, warning against divisiveness and urging mutual support among Nigerians to strengthen national cohesion.
