Ebi Egbe Urges Baribote to Rescue Bayelsa United from Relegation

Ebi Ezekiel Egbe, the Chief Executive Officer of Monimichel Sports, has called for Chief Baribote Rumson to take over the leadership of Bayelsa United to avert the team's relegation from the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL). Currently, Bayelsa United is positioned 19th with 40 points from 35 games, facing the threat of dropping to a lower tier alongside teams like Wikki Tourists and Warri Wolves.

Egbe emphasized the need for experienced leadership, arguing that Baribote possesses the necessary qualifications and understanding of the Nigerian football landscape to guide the club effectively. He made a heartfelt appeal to the Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, to consider the future of football in the state and to act decisively rather than sentimentally.
