Ohaneze Youth Council Warns of Looting Risk in Ebonyi APC Forms Fee

The Ohaneze Youth Council in Ebonyi raised concerns over the N30m fee for APC expression of interest forms, fearing it could lead to looting of local government funds. They demand a reduction in nomination fees for aspiring local government councillors to promote healthy competition and discourage corruption.

Igboayaka O. Igboayaka called for Governor Francis Nwifuru to ensure a level playing field and transparency in the election process.

The council also warned against any conspiracy to undermine the state's economic and political development.
