NYCN in Ebonyi Declares Zero-Tolerance for Terrorism

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), led by state chairman Comrade Douglas Ochishi, declared a zero-tolerance stance against terrorism, banditry, and drug abuse during a massive anti-terror road walk in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. The campaign aimed to sensitize the public and mobilize young people to actively promote peace and security in Nigeria.

Ochishi emphasized the importance of youth involvement in addressing social vices that threaten national development and called for vigilance among citizens to report suspicious activities. He commended the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru in strengthening the nation’s security architecture.

The NYCN also committed to empowering youth through job placement advocacy and skill acquisition programs to combat unemployment. The campaign highlighted the need for a unified message against violence, particularly in the context of upcoming elections, stressing that security is a collective responsibility for all Nigerians.
