Brentford Signs Michael Kayode to Long-Term Deal Until 2032

Brentford FC officially announced the signing of Michael Kayode on a long-term deal that runs until the summer of 2032. The 21-year-old defender, who previously played for Fiorentina, joined Brentford initially on loan in January 2025 before making a permanent move.

Kayode has made 56 appearances across competitions and played a key role in Brentford's solid 2025-26 campaign, which concluded with a ninth-place finish in the Premier League. He was also nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award.

Brentford's head coach, Keith Andrew, praised Kayode's progress, noting his impressive development and enthusiasm. Kayode, a former Juventus youth product, began his career in Italy and had a notable spell with Serie D side Gozzano before joining Fiorentina, where he made his Serie A debut in 2023 and featured regularly, including in the UEFA Conference League final in 2024.

His commitment to Brentford underscores the club's ambition to build around young talent.
