Ebonyi PDP Ex-Gubernatorial Candidate Odii Resigns from Party

Chukwuma Ifeanyi Odii, who contested for the governorship under the PDP in Ebonyi State, officially resigned from the party on January 1, 2026. In his resignation letter addressed to the PDP chairman in Ebonyi State, Odii cited personal consultations with family and close associates as the reason for his decision.

He expressed gratitude for the opportunities and support received but did not disclose his future political plans. Odii thanked the party for the platform provided during the 2023 general elections.
