ECCIMA Urges Dangote to Build Cement Factory in South-East

During the 37th Enugu International Trade Fair, Engr. Nnanyelugo Onyemelukw, President of the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA), called on Alhaji Aliko Dangote to establish a cement factory in South-East Nigeria.

Onyemelukw acknowledged Dangote's substantial contributions to the economic growth of the South-East and Nigeria as a whole. He emphasized the need for industrial development in the region, particularly in cement production, to meet local demand.

The appeal was made on a special day dedicated to Dangote, recognizing the company's impact on entrepreneurship and employment across Africa. The article also noted Dangote's ongoing projects, including the expansion of his petroleum refinery and other manufacturing facilities, which are expected to enhance Nigeria's economic landscape and address challenges in the availability of petroleum products.
