Ecobank Nigeria Supports SMEs at 2026 Adire Fair

Ecobank Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to driving growth in the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sector during the 2026 Adire Fair, which took place from June 10 to June 14, 2026, at the Ecobank Pan African Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. The event celebrated Nigeria's rich cultural heritage and indigenous fashion, drawing approximately 30,000 visitors, including shoppers, exhibitors, and industry stakeholders.

Bolaji Lawal, Managing Director and Regional Executive of Ecobank Nigeria, expressed gratitude for the participation and highlighted the fair's positive economic impact. The event provided a platform for local artisans to showcase a variety of products, including adire fabric, footwear, and crafts, while also offering micro businesses unique access to new markets.

Lawal noted the resilience of local businesses and emphasized the bank's ongoing support for the creative retail sector, aiming to empower entrepreneurs and promote intra-African trade.
