Ecobank Launches Podcast to Empower African Entrepreneurs

Ecobank Nigeria has launched ‘Scaling Up!!!’, a flagship business storytelling podcast designed to inspire and empower African entrepreneurs. The initiative, announced on Wednesday, aims to create an interactive knowledge-sharing platform for both emerging and established business leaders.

Austen Osokpor, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Ecobank Nigeria, stated that the podcast reflects the bank's commitment to supporting entrepreneurship beyond traditional banking solutions. Omoboye Odu, Head of SMEs, Partnerships and Collaborations at Ecobank Nigeria, emphasized the importance of peer-to-peer learning for entrepreneurs.

The podcast aims to provide practical insights and inspiration for business founders. Jemimah Ugiagbe, the producer, highlighted the goal of creating engaging conversations that reveal the realities of success and the lessons learned.

The inaugural season features guests such as filmmaker Kunle Afolayan and music producer ID Cabasa, and is available on Ecobank Nigeria’s YouTube channel and major digital streaming platforms.
