Edo By-Election: APC’s Igbinedion Emerges Winner Of Ovia Federal Constituency Poll

APC's Igbinedion has emerged as the winner of the Ovia Federal Constituency by-election, according to the Returning Officer. Igbinedion secured the victory with a total vote count, defeating his closest rival from the PDP.

The election, supervised by INEC, saw APC's overwhelming success in the constituency. Igbinedion, a former lawmaker, will now represent the people of Ovia in the House of Representatives, strengthening APC's position in Edo politics.

Meanwhile, a former presidential aide has urged the APC to focus on uniting its members in Kano to regain prominence among the people. The NNPP also recorded a significant victory in the state, indicating the need for serious efforts by the APC to reclaim its position.
