Edo Governor Reshuffles Revenue Sector Leadership

On Thursday, Governor Mondai Okpebholo of Edo State announced a minor reshuffle in the state's revenue sector to enhance its revenue generation efforts. The statement, issued by Umar Ikhilor, the Secretary to the State Government, detailed the appointments made.

Idiak Patrick Akhimien, previously the Executive Director of the Edo State Internal Revenue Service, has been reassigned as the chairman of the Edo State Audit Service Commission. He succeeds Odior Osirenimh in this role.

Additionally, Victor Oamen Enemar has been appointed to replace Akhimien as the new chairman of the Edo State Internal Revenue Service, following the resignation of Otunba Oladel Bankolun, who stepped down to pursue aspirations in the forthcoming elections. These changes are effective immediately, reflecting the governor's commitment to sustaining and strengthening the state's revenue drive.
