Edo Residents Protest Prolonged Electricity Blackout, Block Major Highway

Edo residents in Idokpa Community, Edo State, protested a prolonged electricity blackout by blocking a major highway in Benin City. The protest aimed to highlight the severe impact of the power outage on businesses and residents.

The residents accused the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) of diverting electricity meant for their area. They demanded government intervention to restore power supply.
