Nigerian Education Minister Commends Governor Zulum for Education Investments in Borno State

The Nigerian Education Minister, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, commended Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for transforming education in Borno State by inaugurating two mega schools.

The Minister expressed concern over the lack of infrastructure in universities compared to primary schools. Governor Zulum emphasized the importance of education in his administration's agenda, including plans to enhance technical and vocational education.

Additionally, the Borno State Scholarship Board disbursed scholarships to various students, including orphans and those studying health sciences and nursing. Governor Zulum also urged the military to dismantle Boko Haram hideouts around Lake Chad.
