EFCC Arrests Woman Over N165m Property Fraud Scheme in Benin

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Benin zonal director has arrested a woman named Salt Adeaz Udoka, aged 48, for her involvement in an alleged property fraud amounting to N165 million. Udoka, along with two accomplices including Ndubisi John Iheukwumer, is accused of deceiving victims by pretending to sell land properties in Delta State.

Victims transferred money to the suspects, expecting to receive properties measuring 100 acres in Ewulu Kingdom, Delta State. However, after receiving the funds, Udoka and her accomplices cut off communication with the victims, leaving them without the promised properties or refunds.

The EFCC has stated that Udoka will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
