EFCC Declares Timipre Sylva Wanted for Financial Crimes

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared former Bayelsa State Governor, Timipre Sylva, wanted for his alleged involvement in financial crimes amounting to over 14 million USD. The accusations are linked to a case of conspiracy and dishonesty in diverting funds meant for the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and Atlant International Refinery and Petrochemical Limited.

Sylva, aged 61, is urged to contact EFCC offices in various cities or the nearest police station. The EFCC's statement emphasizes the seriousness of the allegations against Sylva.
