EFCC Grills Sujimoto CEO Over Billion-Dollar Contract Fraud with Enugu State

The EFCC interrogated Sujimoto CEO, Sijibomi Ogundele, in Abuja over an alleged billion-dollar contract fraud with the Enugu State Government. Ogundele, wanted for questioning, faced a 10-hour interrogation and possible detention.

The commission froze his accounts and seized his passport to aid the investigation. The case revolves around a contract worth N11 billion, where Ogundele purportedly requested an increased payment to expedite the project.

The EFCC's actions aim to uncover the truth behind the alleged fraudulent activities and ensure accountability in government contracts.
