Candidates such as Chukwuma Soludo, Nicholas Ukachukwu, Paul Chukwuma, Georg Moghalu, and Jude Ezenwafor are major contenders in the election. INEC reported 2,802,790 registered voters across 5,718 polling units in 21 local government areas.
