EFCC Probes Ex-NMDPRA MD Over Alleged Corruption Involving Swiss School Fees

The EFCC has initiated a corruption investigation against Farouk Ahmed, former MD of NMDPRA, for allegedly misusing public funds, including spending $7 million on his children's education in Switzerland. Aliko Dangote filed a petition accusing Ahmed of abuse of office.

The ICPC is also investigating the matter. Dangote's legal team submitted a fresh petition to the EFCC.

The probe involves allegations of code of conduct violations and unlawful spending of public funds. The investigation includes engaging local and international entities.
