Miyetti Allah Warns Members Against Carrying Weapons for Eid

On Thursday, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), led by President Alhaji Baba Othman Ngelzarma, issued a warning to its members against carrying knives, matches, and similar objects during the Eid el-Fitr celebrations. This caution was particularly directed at the youth to avoid actions that may lead to confrontations with fellow citizens or security agencies during public gatherings.

The statement was made to mark the completion of Ramadan and the Eid el-Fitr celebration in Abuja. Ngelzarma urged members to conduct themselves with dignity and respect for the law during this joyous occasion.

He also highlighted the importance of gratitude to Allah and the need for reconciliation among communities. Furthermore, MACBAN advised its members to exercise caution during the rainy season, which coincides with widespread farming activities, to prevent disputes with farming communities over grazing.
