Tinubu and Governors Celebrate Eid-el-Kabir with Hope

On Tuesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside Senate President Godswill Akpabio and House of Representatives Speaker Abba Tajudeen, conveyed Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and around the world. They urged citizens to maintain hope and support the less privileged during this festive period.

Tinubu highlighted the economic challenges faced by Nigeria, asserting that sacrifices made over the past three years are beginning to yield positive results, with reforms stabilizing the economy and attracting investments. He acknowledged ongoing security issues, including terrorist and bandit attacks, but expressed confidence in the success of security agencies.

Akpabio called for prayers and reflection on the theme of sacrifice, while other officials, including Barau Jibrin and Dikko Umaru Radda, emphasized unity and peace. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu reminded residents of the importance of faith and community harmony during this period.
