Tinubu Calls for Unity and Rule of Law on Eid-el-Kabir

During the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations at Dodan Barracks in Lagos, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu urged Nigerians to embrace unity and obedience to the rule of law. He expressed gratitude for witnessing another Eid and encouraged reflection on the festival's lessons, which promote love and coexistence across ethnic and religious lines.

Tinubu stressed the importance of tolerance and adherence to religious teachings as foundational to peace in society. He condemned violence, banditry, and hate speech, asserting that no religion condones such actions.

Sheikh Sulaimon Abou Nolla, the Grand Chief Imam of Lagos State, echoed Tinubu's sentiments, calling for Nigerians to embrace sacrifice, generosity, and service to humanity. The event was attended by notable figures, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, who joined in prayers for peace and prosperity in the nation.
