Tinubu Urges Love and Tolerance During Eid-el-Kabir

President Bola Tinubu called on Nigerians to embrace love, tolerance, and unity among Muslims as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir. He made this appeal to journalists on Wednesday after observing Eid prayers at the Dodan Barrack prayer ground in Lagos.

Tinubu expressed gratitude to God for preserving the lives of Nigerians and urged citizens to reflect on the lessons of the season. He emphasized the need for compassion without discrimination based on ethnicity or hatred.

The President highlighted the importance of obedience to Allah and respect for the rule of law, stating that these principles are essential for guiding society. He also spoke about the significance of sacrifice during Eid-el-Kabir, stressing the sanctity of human life and the value of sacrifice, particularly in the context of replacing animals with human lives.
