INEC Engages Stakeholders for 2026 Ekiti Governorship Election Voter Registration

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ekiti State is intensifying efforts to mobilize eligible citizens for the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise ahead of the 2026 governorship election. Dr.

Bunmi Omoseyindemi, the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Ekiti State, emphasized the importance of stakeholder support for a transparent and credible registration process. The first phase of the CVR exercise started in August and will end on December 10, 2025, with the second phase commencing on January 5, 2026.

Stakeholders are encouraged to participate actively to ensure a successful voter registration process.
